Where is my data stored?
Thence is designed with privacy in mind. Personal timeline data is stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete timeline data, Life Chapters, and related content directly in the app. You can also revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Why does Thence request access to Photos, Calendar, Reminders, or Location?
These permissions allow Thence to reconstruct your personal timeline, discover meaningful days, and generate Life Chapters from authorized data.
How can I request account or data deletion?
All data is stored locally. To fully remove data, simply delete the app. For additional inquiries, contact support via email.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure Thence has the required permissions in iOS Settings.
- Restart the app if recently granted permissions do not appear immediately.
- Keep your device updated to the latest iOS version supported by the app.
- If a purchase does not appear, use Restore Purchases in the app.
